She was born on March, 16, 1937 to the late Charles and Theresa (Dugee) Dunow in Iron Mountain, Michigan. On September 16, 1986 she married Ralph Arlette in Monticello, Utah. Those who knew Paula will remember her for the loving and caring person that she was, spending many years as a caretaker. She is survived by her husband, Ralph; sisters, Bernice Hoff, Jo (Don) Robida and Fumi Dunow; God Daughter, Amanda Frisner; nieces and nephews, Eydie (Jim) Bushey, Joe (Jean) Dunow, Allen Dunow, John (Jean) Dunow, Morgan (Mary Ann) Coon, Donna (Fred) Den- Mavis passed away Nov. 4, 2015, after a brief illness.

She was 88 years old. Born in her parents home on May 16, 1927, in The Town of Dakota, WI. She was the daughter of William and Susan (Ro-hde) Goodwin. Mavis came to Appleton with her sister, and best friend, Ginny in 1948. There she met her soon to be husband and love of her life, Woody (Ellery).

Woods. They spent 64 years together before he passed in 2013. Mavis was a homemak-er, a kind and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved kitties, and her favorite flowers were Lilies of the Valley and Lilacs. A devout Christian, she read her bible daily.

There has never been a more soft spoken, gentle person than our Mother Grandmother. From her beautiful red wavy hair, to her warm smile and hugs, she was our soft, safe place where we could alway seek comfort. She taught us empathy. We will treasure her in our hearts forever as we try to honor her by following her example. Sally" (Stoffel) DataMineY Stone, Sara Marilyn Stone, age 37, of Appleton, passed away peacefully Friday morning November 6, 2015, at the Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa, surrounded by her family and faithful pug after a courageous 2 lA year battle with cancer. She was born February 8, 1978, in Neenah, the daughter of Randy and Shirley (Lippert) Gerrits. Sara graduated from Menasha High School, with the class of 1996. Following high school, she attended and graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. On March 20, 2004, Sara married Brian Stone on the beach in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Sara began her working career with Thrivent Financial in Appleton. She then went to work for Miles Kimball Company in Oshkosh, before accepting a position with the Nielsen Company as a computer programmer. Sara is survived by her loving husband, Brian Stone; parents, Randy and Shirley Gerrits; sister, Kristi (Randy) Wilson; brother, Andy Gerrits; nieces, Jaycie Gerrits and 920 733 2211 affey Tunemfffome hel, Jane Domico, Diane Carlton, Charles (Martha) Hoff, Robert Hoff; great niece and nephew, Bailey (Luke) Hubner and Zach Hoff; as well as other relatives and friends. Elizabeth Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born February 11, 1928, daughter of the late Joseph Julia (Becher) Stoffel. On May 26, 1948, she was united in marriage to Elmer J. Schroth. They farmed for 35 years before moving to Appleton.

The couple enjoyed 57 years of marriage. Elmer preceded Sally in death on June 1, 2005. They were members of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Stephensville and St. Pius Catholic Church in Appleton.

Sally was an outstanding bowler. She loved her music, square dancing, playing cards, and backyard volleyball with the family She had the best family dinners and you never left her house hungry. Even after her eyesight dwindled, she never lost her sense of humor and quick wit. The family was her pride and joy. Her smile, beliefs, and family values will be continued with her remaining 9 children, 34 grandchildren, and 52 great-grandchildren.

Johnson, formerly of Appleton, passed away of natural causes at her home in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, on October 31, 2015.

She was 89 years old. She was born Dorothy Jane Christofferson on March 30, 1926, to Elmer and Marita (Blood) Christofferson in Salt Lake City, Utah. She became a registered nurse in 1947, and graduated with a bachelor of science degree from the University of Utah in 1948. During the subsequent two years, she served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mexico and Guatemala. Dorothy married Rue Corbett Johnson in Salt Lake City in 1952.

Together they raised five children. The family lived in Utah, Idaho and Indiana before settling in Appleton, Wisconsin, in 1973. After 38 years of exemplary service to their community and their church in Wisconsin, Dorothy and Rue moved to Highlands Ranch in 2010 to be near family. Dorothy served on the Appleton Board of Education from 1977 to 1980, when she was elected as the city's first female mayor, an office she occupied for 12 years. This was followed by more than a decade on the Wisconsin State Ethics Board, and many years as the board president for the St.

Joseph Food Program based in Menasha. Shortly after her passing, this newspaper published both a news article and column praising her accomplishments. She attended Mid State Technical College, Stevens Point, and Fox Valley Technical College, Appleton. On Thanksgiving Day in 1975, Nancy was united in marriage to Roy J. Kerr. Nancy enjoyed visiting friends and family, especially her parents. She had a fondness for wildlife and an affection for children, especially her many nieces and nephews.

Nancy was well read in many aspects of medical science. Nancy also had a special interest in the world of fashion modeling. Nancy and Roy, as a couple, enjoyed walking, bicycle riding, playing tennis, and bowling. The two of them loved traveling throughout Wisconsin, California, Utah, New York City, and Washington D.C.
