Louis Wilke, 65; Official With U.S. Olympic Team Obituary Chicago (AP)-Louis C. Wilke, 65, former president of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and a United States Olympic team official, died yesterday in suburban Northfield. Wilke died at the home of his brother-in-law, Carl Edwards. Wilke became ill Tuesday night after arriving from New York where he had been trying to resolve a squabble between the AAU and the National Collegiate Athletic Association.

Wilke was one of two U.S. delegates to the International Basketball Federation and was assigned to investigate claims presented at the 1960 Olympics which questioned the AAU's right to hold U.S. membership in the basketball federation. He was administrative committee chairman of the U.S. Olympic team for the 1960 games in Rome.

Born in Chicago, Oct. 10, 1896, Wilke attended Northwestern (Okla.) State College and graduated in 1916. Wilke was athletic director of Phillips University, Enid, during the 1920s. His teams compiled a record of 78 victories, eight defeats and 11 ties. In 1929, Wilke was hired by Phillips Petroleum Co.

and became the first amateur coach of the Phillips 66 basketball team. He coached the 66ers for two years, winning 98 games and losing 8. He was past. president of the Oklahoma and Rocky Mountain AAU Associations, and in 1953 was elected president of the AAU. Wilke was a resident of Bartlesville, Okla.

Funeral services were scheduled for Monday at Presbyterian Church in Bartlesville. Mrs. Lillian McKown, Was 59 Bridgehampton-A funeral service for Mrs. Lillian McKown, 59, proprietor of the 15-room Parson's Hotel on Sag Harbor Road, was held yesterday in her quarters in the hotel. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery here.

Mrs. McKown died Sunday in Southampton Hospital of leukemia. She had owned the hotel, said to be about 80 years old, for the last 20 years. She is survived by her husband, Alonzo, and a daughter by a previous marriage, Mrs. Shirley Grzybowski.

Lawney, a former medical missionary in China and a founder of the Baptist Church in the Garden of Garden City, died Tuesday in St. Luke's Hospital. She was 80 years old. Dr. Lawney lived at 88 Morningside Drive.

In 1919 she was assigned to Margaret Williamson Hospital and Women's Christian Medical College, interdenominational institutions in Shanghai, under the auspices of the Woman's Boards of Foreign Missions of North America. She became Professor of Medicine, chief of medical service and dean. During her many years in Shanghai, she made a survey of tuberculosis in China and did research on beriberi and anemia. When the Japanese invaded China, the two institutions moved near a camp in the Shanghai area to serve refugees. After Pearl Harbor, Dr.

Lawney was interned in Shanghai with other Americans and provided medical care for her fellow prisoners. She also made studies of nutrition, which were published as part of a collaborative study. She was repatriated in 1943 on the liner Gripsholm but returned to China three years later to establish a medical service, which she maintained Rites for Thomas J. Meehan Patchogue-Religious services will be held Saturday for Thomas J. Meehan, 59, a photoengraver who died of a heart attack Tuesday.

Meehan, a resident of this village for more than 47 years, made his home at 326 S. Ocean Ave. Rosary services will be held tomorrow at 8 PM at his residence. A Solemn Requiem Mass will be offered Saturday at 10 AM in St. Francis de Sales Church.

At her retirement in 1955, she received from her alma mater, Woman's Medical College of Pennsylvania, two citations and the honorary degree of Doctor of Medical Science. Dr.

Lawney was born in Chicago and was reared in Readsboro, Vt. A sister, Mrs. Alexander Stevens of Winter Park, survives. Dr. Eugene Miele, 56; Practiced in Freeport Freeport- -Funeral services were to be held today for Dr.

Eugene J. Miele, 56, a general practitioner who died Monday in his home after a heart attack. He lived at 75 N. Bergen Pl. Miele was born in New York City, attended Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, and received his medical degree from the University of Padua in Italy in 1934.

A resident of Nassau County for more than 25 years, Miele practiced Merrick before moving to Freeport in 1946, where he opened an office. Miele was one of the first interns at Meadowbrook Hospital. He was a member of the American Medical Association, the Nassau County Medical Society and the Rockville Links, a Rockville Centre golf club. He is survived by his wife, Catherine; two daughters, Mrs. Martha Harrington and Christine Miele; three brothers, and four sisters.

Aldo Erale; Helped Spur Towing Law Ronkonkoma- services will be held tonight and tomorrow for Aldo Erale, 52, whose testimony before a 1957 Suffolk grand jury help establish the Islip Town tow-truck ordinance. Erale, of 101 W. First was a garage owner. He was among a group of towmen who charged that some Islip Town policemen were getting payoffs by truck operators who wanted auto-wreck information ahead of competitors.

No indictments resulted from the investigation, but the grand jury recommended that Islip enact an ordinance ensuring an equal chance for business for each qualified tow-truck operator. A rotating roster system was established in 1958.
