I'm against using the death penalty method of punishing criminals. First of all, death penalty is no different from committing a murder. If court accepts the death penalty, citizens will think that it is okay to kill people that have a reason to be hated. Also, since it is important to help citizens avoid committing murder, using the death penalty will not be useful for the society as it is just like committing a murder. In addition, dying is an easy way out for a criminal. When a person commits a crime they should spend more time paying for their actions instead of ending their life without understanding what they have done wrong and maybe correct their mistake in the future.

Criminals also never know when it is their time to be executed which gives the criminal and his family a hard life as their child or relative could die without them knowing. Therefore, I demand the elimination of the death penalty.
