- The Dutch company developed specific electrolysis technologies for the food & beverage industry, breweries, agricultural applications, swimming pools, potable water plants and industrial applications. By building application-specific machines the company create the best available chlorine based disinfectant for each application.This resulted in the diverses Chlorinsitu and The DULCO®Lyse with the lowest possible by-products, highest efficiency and lowest total cost of ownership. The company has a line of products that can be adapted to the needs of the clients. The following lines are produced:
Chlorinsitu ®-IIa combines the proven and durable design of the open electrolysis cell with an innovative design. Cost-effective and low maintenance solution to improve safety and bringing a positive business case to chemical usage. Applications: Conventional hypochlorite replacement, potable water, Swimming pools, Horticulture and animal treatment.
Chlorinsitu®-III is a membrane cell electrolysis system in which the electrochemical reaction takes place in two electrode
chambers (anode and cathode) which are separated by a cation selective membrane. The formation of active chlorine
and sodium hydroxide is physically separated. The system can be used for potable-, waste-, process-, swimming pool
water and in cooling towers.
This product can be modified to produce up to 12,5% chlorine concentration, or produce a stable chlorine solution that is ultra-low in chlorate.
Chlorinsitu®-V is a membrane cell electrolysis system based upon the same platform as the Chlorinsitu®III. However, here the freshly produced active chlorine will immediately be dosed in the water
to be treated, forming in-situ hypochlorous acid. The sodium hydroxide which is being produced at the cathode side can
be used for pH correction.It can be used with all applications in which the potable water, waste water, process water,
swimming pool water and in cooling towers requires the highest purity and quality.
As variant upon that, a buffercan be added as extra module, then being referred to as the Chlorinsitu®- V+.
DULCO®Lyse is built upon the same platform as the Chlorinsitu®V, however created a buffer of chlorine solution at 400 ppm FAC, low in chlorate and therefor can be used for all food and beverage related applications in which high purity, quality and safety is required.The partners they are looking for are companies that find the use of insitu chlorine production. Either being a chemical vendor that wants to diversify its portfolio, or being a total water solution provider and want to include a modern disinfection system. .They are open also to discuss pay-per-use or demonstration models, wen appropiate and when this will aid the launch of more sale within a specific application
- Advantages and Innovations
- The advantages of the technology of the Chlorintsitu® and DULCO®Lys in their excellent efficiency (85% yield) and no entrainment of chloride or chlorate, normally coming from the anode residue. All this resulting in a low salt- and energy consumption. The absence of chloride and nearly-zero chlorate levels into the water to be treated are a result of the esmart use of chemistry and the membrane cell technology.
